Welcome, my name is Zoe.

I am a somatic and holistic therapist specialising in trauma healing.

TRAUMA HEALING

I believe healing is a deeply somatic process that cannot be intellectualised.

My journey taught me that many symptoms people suffer from — including PTSD, chronic anxiety, insomnia, chronic pain, addictions, panic attacks, depression, perfectionism and low self-esteem — are often rooted in unresolved trauma stored within the body and nervous system.

MY APPROACH

Using evidence-informed approaches that work with both the body and subconscious mind, I help clients process trauma at its root to support deep, lasting change in a safe environment.

This goes beyond talk therapy.

My own healing journey and years of research into trauma and healing deeply shaped the work I offer today and allow me to guide others through this process with both professional knowledge and lived experience.

It is a true honour to witness clients move from survival and suffering into greater peace, connection and joy within themselves.

BODY, MIND AND SOUL

The years I spent on this path healing myself taught me that healing is a holistic process aligning body, mind and soul.

Body

Trauma lives in the body and nervous system as held tension, emotion and survival responses. Through somatic work, we support the body in releasing what it has carried in isolation.

Mind

We work with subconscious beliefs, patterns and protective strategies shaped by past experiences, bringing awareness and integration to what has been running underneath conscious awareness.

Soul

As these layers begin to soften, many people experience a deeper reconnection to themselves — a sense of clarity, presence and inner alignment beneath survival patterns and conditioning.

SESSIONS WITH ZOE

WHAT TO EXPECT IN A SESSION?

Sessions with me are deeply somatic. A session lasts around 75 minutes.

The tools I use mirror the result of my own process of research to heal myself.

My sessions involve a variety of tools to process trauma though the body such as EFT and IEMT (similar to EMDR), somatic techniques, inner child work, parts work, as well as a safe and loving presence to guide you back to your body and emotions safely.

In a session we start from the symptom and gently track it to something frozen in the past that needs our attention. I use these tools in an intuitive manner to help you process the trauma.

Everything is approached with care and at a pace your system can handle. The aim is not to push or analyse, but to support your system in processing what has been held alone.

Healing isn’t only about the right tools or technique — We are not broken machines in need of fixing. I believe healing happens when we are finally met with enough compassion, safety, acceptance and presence to reconnect with the parts of ourselves we had to suppress in order to survive.

All these wounded parts of us, whether fears, resistance, lack of safety, need not only to be “work with” or “healed”, but seen and loved.

Co-regulation, safety, being seen, and love are important components in how we heal. Most of our wounds are relational, therefore a creating a safe relationship with clients where they feel seen and accepted is at the foundation of my work.

This work is co-created between us. Your healing is as much about your bravery in showing up as it is about the loving presence and space I hold for you. Together, we move through the layers of trauma, uncovering the wisdom and strength that were hidden beneath.

A GUIDE IN THE DARK

My approach to therapy is deeply human.

I am not here to analyse, judge, give you advice on what you should do, I am not superior to you in any way. I will sit with you where you’re at with love, space and empathy to the best of my ability, but ultimately I am myself, not playing a role of a therapist. This will give you the permission to show up as yourself too, and to create genuine intimacy and connection between us which plays such a big role in healing trauma.

We are often afraid or our own darkness, yet it is only by accepting holding and loving our darkness that we heal and alchemise it into light. My intention is to create a safe space to guide you gently to your own darkness and midwife you back to your whole Self.

It is only because I have been on that journey myself (and still am) that I can guide you through it. I believe we cannot take someone to a level of depth we haven’t explored in ourselves.

Healing is not about becoming someone else.
It is about returning to yourself.

THE tools I USE

WHAT IS EFT?

EFT is a very gentle technique that naturally calms the body’s stress response by tapping on certain meridian points of the body. It allows clients to access unresolved and suppressed trauma safely and to process unresolved feelings, memories and beliefs stored in the subconscious. This allows for profound and long lasting change.

WHAT IS SOMATIC HEALING?

Most of us are very disconnected from our bodies, as it wasn’t safe to be embodied as children. Our bodies hold our past trauma and suppressed emotions, and remember everything we went through. By learning to attune to what is present in the body (tension, emotion, sensation) and listening to what it needs to move through and be released (presence, love, movement, sound) we can let the frozen energy from the past move out of gently.

WHAT IS INNER CHILD AND PARTS WORK?

When we go through a traumatic experience as children, the part of us undergoing that trauma freezes in time. The inner child is the part of us that never grew up, but holds beliefs, emotions and memories from the past, and controls our life experience, emotional reactions and decisions. Until we heal the inner child, we see life from the lens of that child.

Inner child work and parts work is a way to tend to those hurt and protective parts of us, restore love and compassion for ourselves, and help them “grow up”so that they don’t control our adult lives anymore.

WHAT IS IEMT?

Similar to EMDR, IEMT uses precise eye movement patterns to recalibrate maladaptive responses, allowing individuals to process distressing memories, alleviate negative emotions, and develop healthier mental frameworks. Unlike traditional talk therapies, IEMT operates on a neurobiological level, often producing rapid and lasting results.
